Measure C Extension, which was passed by Fresno County voters in November 2006, calls for the enactment of a Regional Transportation Mitigation Fee (RTMF). Fesno County and the Cities in Fresno County have agreed to establish a Joint Powers AGency to enact and administer the RTMF.
A public meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. to establish the Measure C Fresno County Regional Transportation Mitigation Fee Agency, estalish by-laws, appoint officers, consider the nexus study prepared by Fresno COG for approval, to consider other pending business regarding the RTMF and to introduce a proposed fee schedule for adoption October 29, 2009. Public written comments will be accepted through October 23, 2009.
