The Fresno County Mayors’ Selection Committee and the Chair of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors will be appointing nine members to the Measure C Citizens’ Oversight Committee consistent with the November 2006 voter-approved Measure C Expenditure Plan.
These vacancies must be filled within 90 days of the past term expirations of June 30, 2009. The purpose of the Citizens’ Oversight Committee is to inform the public and to ensure that the Measure C funding program revenues and expenditures are spent as promised to the public.
Don’t delay! Fill out an application and submit it by September 1, 2009.
The selection process is expected to be completed by the end of September 2009.
